How is muesli eaten?

Muesli is flexible. You can eat it cold, soaked, warm or straight from the pack, depending on your morning.
The most common ways:
- Cold, with milk poured over, like any breakfast cereal.
- Stirred into curd or yoghurt with chopped fruit. This is the quickest option for busy weekdays.
- Overnight soaked (Bircher muesli): mix muesli with milk or curd and grated apple, refrigerate, and it’s soft and ready by morning.
- Warm: simmer with milk for two to three minutes for a porridge-like bowl in winter.
- As a topping on smoothie bowls, fruit chaat or plain dahi.
Crunchy (baked) muesli tastes best with milk added just before eating. Untoasted muesli softens well, so it suits soaking.
GAIA’s own suggestion for Gaia Crunchy Muesli – Diet is to stir it into yoghurt or pour skimmed milk over it, then add fresh fruit.
